Vegetables : Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower Benefits: High in fiber, vitamins C and K. Supports digestion and provides immune-boosting nutrients. Ingredients: 1 cup Brussels sprouts, trimmed 1 cup cabbage, chopped 1 cup cauliflower florets 1 cucumber, peeled and sliced 1 green apple, cored and sliced 1 lemon, peeled 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled 1 cup cold water Ice cubes (optional) Instructions: Prepare the Ingredients: Trim the Brussels sprouts and remove any tough outer leaves. Chop the cabbage into smaller pieces. Break the cauliflower into florets. Peel and slice the cucumber. Core and slice the green apple. Peel the lemon, ensuring to remove the bitter white pith. Bettye Washington Greene                                                           March 20, 1935 - June 16, 1995 Bettye Washington Greene was born March 20, 1935, in Fort Worth, Texas. Even though slavery was eradicated, Texas state legislature instructed schools to be racially divided and interracial relationships felonies. Bettye attended I.M. Terrell High School which affiliated with the Black High School Study program. This program contributed to learning by bringing black teachers to enhance education through hands-on, experience-based, and problem-solving learning while including community and social projects.
